You mean patella?: It is unlikely your knee is dislocating, as that is a devastating trauma and an emergency. You may be dislocating your kneecap (patella). When this happens the patella displaces laterally. This injury initially requires enough force to tear ligaments but after that may happen from even minor maneuvers. An orthopedist can re-anchor the patella surgically.
