A member asked:

Are sympathetic nerve blocks effective at calming the sympathetic system which causes angina and migraines? if not, why not? would seem logical.

The key here: is that you have to be able to inject the specific nerves that are causing the problem such as in the neck, low back, arm for regional pain syndromes. One doesn't have access to the sympathetic nerves inside the skull causing the migraine or supplying the coronary arteries along the heart surface that are causing angina.
