11 months old: If your child is not acting like he has a normal cold or viral illness - the like s of which you have probably had in the past - take him back in to be checked by MD.

Pretty common: If the kid is alert, feeding okay,engaging in normal activities/play this is probably the final stage of the illness. If he is quiet, inactive, off his feeds and not willing to smile or play the original issue may have evolved into something needing treatment.
