Needs Evaluation...: Infection is a common cause of vulvar itching; however, there are other, less well known causes. For example vulvar vestibulitis and lichen sclerosis are skin conditions that cause itching. Pre-cancer or cancer can also sometimes cause itching as can menopausal atrophy. In some cases, a biopsy is required. Persistent itching like this is best initially evaluated by an Ob/Gyn. Best wishes!
