Hair loss: is rare but has been reported as a side effect of fluoxetine. See your pcp to check thyroid, vit D (if you were depressed) and other medical factors that may cause hair loss. Your comment was cut off so don't know what med dermatologist prescribed. Vitamin supplement may have been good start as fluoxetine can take up to 90 days to leave the system. I hope this helps.
