Anovulation...: There are many causes of missing periods even though you aren't pregnant. Not ovulating is a common cause. Sometimes women don't ovulate due to stress; weight gain; dieting; or due to medical conditions such as thyroid problems. The evaluation is somewhat complicated so you will need to see an Ob/Gyn to find out what the cause is for sure. Best wishes!
