This sounds: like normal nasal mucous...the memberane (lining) of your nose contains mucous cells which act to PROTECT the nose and upper airways from damage( including allergens and DRYNESS) This excess "spit" (MUCOUS) is a NORMAL reaction to the "HIT" you sustained!! Hope this helps! Dr Z
