Call surgeon today: Call the surgeon who placed the shunt or your PCP today for advice. They can tell you the next best steps to take to feel better, OK?

You may be right: If you cant visit your doctor to get examined, you should go to ED to get it checked. Increased pressure to brain should not be sustained for any reason, and a blocked shunt needs to be pulled ASAP to avoid complications including infection.
