A member asked:

Have extra heartbeats. caught them on event monitor, could stomach issues cause them? really random but i notice them a lot more after i eat

Generally no: It would be unusual for stomach issues to cause palpitations, but some stomach medicines may cause them, especially Propulsid. Extra heart beats are extremely common. Avoid nicotine, caffeine, xs alcohol, get plenty of rest, avoid stress if possible, give it a few weeks and if you're still bothered, seek further medical help. They tend to go away on their own.
