Nerve root: Hello, as babies when we are developing stomach gets its nerve supply through the same nerve root that supplies the shoulder. After we grow the stomach gets pulled down but because the nerve supply is the same, any pain in the stomach or spleen area can radiate to your left shoulder blade.
