Any antibiotic can..: ...cause stomach upset. The sugar in honey is a combination of 2 simple sugars (glucose & fructose). If your digestive tract isn't breaking,the sugar down right now, it may be difficult to digest. Try leaving out the honey for now. Everything will return to normal soon after you finish the amoxicillin. Best wishes! Dr. Anne.

You may stop Atb: Antibiotics can cause stomach upset after a few days of use. But they have done their job in 5-6 days. So if your problem for which you took amoxicillin has resolved, you should stop taking the antibiotics right now. Take some imodium(over the counter) if you need more quick relief from stomach upset.
