A member asked:

Can the pancreas cause white stool? my us showed no stones on my gallbladder but was unable to get the pancreas because over overlying gas

A doctor has provided 1 answer

White stools: ODixon, I am not seeing the correlation. Chronic pancreatitis will cause white stools due to steatorrea, which is fat in the stools. The gas over the pancreas is due to air in the stomach. I can deduce nothing more from information given. thanks
