No: If you culture there you will grow a variety of organisms, including yeast. Assuming you are taking antibiotic for prostatitis. you will have increased candida. You may need treatment for this. Candida does not cause severe prostatitis. It may be responsible for some itch. Anal itch is usually due to fecal soiling. Avoid scrubbing. After a BM, first clean with paper, then clean with lotion INSIDE
