Dry skin: Dry skin patches are very common, and may be caused by atopic dermatitis (eczema), fungal infections or other inflammatory skin diseases. Usually they are nothing to worry about. Try putting some moisturizer or Vaseline on it and show your doctor at your next visit. If it is growing larger or has different colors, get it looked at sooner.
