Coincidence or not?: Fever and vomiting often occur as part of a stomach bug. Three times in three months is a little unusual, but can still happen by chance at this age. Keep a diary of symptoms and dates, and bring it to your pediatrician. Some laboratory testing may be in order, or this may just disappear.

Probably normal: this is the age that children are continually exposed to novel viral infections as they become more social with other toddlers. The average can last a full week and he may get up to 15 this year if exposed to be setting with kids (new school, play group, etc). Control how s fever and discomfort with Tylenol (acetaminophen) and/or Motrin. Ensure he gets plenty of fluids. For ongoing nausea/vomiting see doc
