Probably: A middle ear infection that burst your ear drum and is draining may be a more aggressive infection. Take the Amoxicillin as prescribed. Your drainage should significantly improve in 2 to 3 days. In that case take all of the pills as recommended. If not improving in a few days call the doctor, you may need something stronger. Call even sooner if you get a stiff neck or bad headache.
