This does not: make any sense to me. A patient with aspiration pneumonia needs more therapy than what you are describing. How long you stay in hospital would depend on how sick you are. However, hospice care does not mean you are dying or "written off". They offer spectacular care to those who need it and can't be at home. Talk to your doctor for more information
