Sperm: Sperm have been known to survive in human fallopian tubes for up to 96 hours-that is four days. Implantation bleeding is when the embryo is digesting interpenetrating the endometrial lining. Sometimes blood vessels get exposed and it leads to spotting. That is the accepted explanation.
