Minimally: You are very young to be having an invasive angiogram ("cardiac cath"). Usually now they are performed via the radial artery in the wrist and are generally not painful. Afterward, pressure is applied for several hours to prevent bleeding and that can be mildly uncomfortable, but overall not a very unpleasant experience. Of course, everyone's case differs.
