How long should i wait after abdominal surgery to receive lumbar epidural injections?

Depend: it really depend on what kind of abdominal surgery you had and why you need to have an epidural. Usually there is no problem receiving any epidural after abdominal surgery, matter of fact , a lot of anesthesiologist insert epidural catheter after abdominal surgery, specially major vascular surgery for pain control. My advise check with your surgeon, to make sure there is no objection.
