On levitra (vardenafil) for ed. want to switch to cialis but cardio may be putting me on a ?blocker for tachy. epocrates says lev is ok but cialis isnt. what's ok?

Epocrates doesn't...: ...specifically say that Levitra (vardenafil) is OK but Cialis isn't. Levitra (vardenafil) has a short half life & Cialis a long half life. They're otherwise, for all intents & purposes, the same drug. Personally I would want my partner to deal with his heart condition first & his sex life second. Professionally I would want, you and your doctor to make the decision together. Best wishes.

Pde5i rx: These medications all act the same. They can be associated with a drop in bp especially if used with bp medication. Generally we don't see serious bp drop. In young healthy men. No difference. With cialis or levitra (vardenafil)
