Blocked ears, cough, chest congestion, feeling tired. have been taking advil (ibuprofen) congestion for a week & drinking tea. what can i do to get rid of this?

Antihistamine: Try over the counter Allegra (fexofenadine) or zyrtec, but if symptoms worsen, change, or fail to resolve in 2 weeks, check with your doctor.

Congestion: If your symptoms have lasted beyond a week, it is time to be seen by a doctor. Until you are seen, i would advise rest, nasal saline spray, and boosting up your immune system with anti-oxidant rich fruit and vegies. Bottom line, it's time to see the doc.

Ten day limit: If no better after ten days consult a doctor. Your viral illness may have turned into something more serious.
