First period : The first menstrual cycle after a D and C usually comes 3-6 weeks after surgery. The first cycle is often a little bit abnormal. Sometimes it's too long sometimes it's too short. Sometimes it's too heavy. Sometimes it's too light. Things get back to normal after that
