See below: The cervix is a vascular organ and the vessels get engourged during pregnancy. During intercourse, the cervix can be "roughed up" a little bit and cause some bleeding, typically from small external vessels. This is normal and the bleeding tends to be very short lived. If bleeding is heavy, or you are experiencing pain, contact you doctor immediately.
