When i lay down at night,i have sharp pains in my knee and leg, but when i'm up walking or standing i don't have the pain?

Joint Pain at night: Many of my patients with OA of the knee will report the same complaint. Sometimes the pain also occurs with prolonged sitting. For some reason the static position will lead to stiffness and pain. You may want to have your doc do standing weight bearing knee xrays.
