Highly unlikely: If correctly performed a pregnancy test coming back negative, when there is actually a pregnancy, is highly unlikely. Anything is possible in medicine, though - so you could back up the test with a blood test and/or a transvaginal ultrasound, which 8 weeks into a pregnancy should demonstrate a pregnancy in the uterus.
