I'm obese,been doing zumba/tabata for 3 months. when i try to do burpees i get a pins and needles sensation in my calf upon jumping up. any ideas?

Nerve pain: A pins and needles sensation is usually indicative of nerve pain. If you have been relatively inactive and then start a high intensity workout program, the sensory nerves in your lower extremities are experiencing stretching they are not accustomed to. Stick with the workouts, you are not causing any long term problems. Applaud you for getting fit!
