No, go get Plan B: Sprintec cannot be used for emergency contraception. Plan B One Step and generic versions are available over the counter. Your health care provider may be able to give you a prescription for Ella (ulipristal acetate). Some other regular birth controls can be used for emergency contraption, but not Sprintec. And using higher doses of regular birth control pills is less effective than Plan B or Ella (ulipristal acetate).
