R/O CRYPT TRAPPING: Tonsilar crypt trapping can cause chronic tonsillitis you need to have throat cultured and a full panel of blood work. Empiric antibiotics Also ENT CONSULT re tonsillectomy . Rapid strep test is not always reliable .
