A member asked:

How many ounces should a 3 month old baby be drinking?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It depends....: The amount of milk an infant should be taking at any particular age depends on several things: sex, gestational age and weight at birth, type of milk being offered (breast, standard formula, increased calorie formula), underlying medical conditions, frequency of feeding, etc. On average, a healthy term 3 month old usually takes 3-4 oz every 4 hours.
