Surgery: Endometriosis comes in 4 stages. It is not cancer and does not lead to death. It can lead to very painful menstrual cycles. Medical options are available to treat it. In some cases removal of the uterus and/or ovaries is necessary to alleviate the discomfort. An Obgyn should be able to help guide you through the options.
