Can't estrogen blocking meds. dbl. mast.,clean margins 1.2 cm tumor, no lymph node involv., oncodx score 2, estrogen/progesterone pos. % of return?

Less than 5%: With lesion smaller than 2 cm., negative nodes and ER PR pos. most recurrences are in residual breast. Sine double mastectomy, any recurrence would be distant mets and with nature of primary lesion, the high risk factors of primary absent would minimaize recurrence. One could consider tamoxifen but I would hold off on meds especially with an oncodx score of 2 which suggests minimal recurrence.
