A member asked:

I've done lasik comprehensive test and was informed that i'm a candidate for lasik but with 6/7 instead of 6/6. what should i do as i need advice.

6/7 is good vision,: equivalent to 20/25. You'll be able to read an eye chart from 20' away what someone with "perfect vision" could read at 25'. Unless your career requires 20/20 vision (pilot, baseball player) your life will be fine with 20/25 vision. Aiming for 6/6 (20/20), even with today's technology, is also aiming for a greater risk of complications. My advice: either settle for 6/7 or not get LASIK.
