Is it true that a person with -8.00 contact prescription would be a good enough candidate for lasik?

Possible: Patients with -8.00 can have laser vision correction surgery (lasik or prk can be done). However, it depends on other factors being normal as well, such as the thickness of your cornea, shape of your cornea. Consult an experience refractive surgeon for a consult to be sure.
