What is an example of an experiment within the field of space medicine that can only be performed in space (and therefore requiring an md astronaut)?

In reality: In this day and age of connectivity, there really aren't experiments that absolutely require an MD presence in space as a doctor could very well monitor the results of an experiment from a remote location on the surface of Earth. But that doesn't mean that doctors don't necessarily go into space to help run and monitor experiments.
