Im on the depo shot and i started bleeding 3-4 weeks after my 2nd injection , im not due for my next shot until another 6 weeks , what will happen if i take a birth control today?

Birth control pill?: One birth control pill won't do much to change bleeding on DepoProvera. Over time birth control pills taken at the same time every day should make your periods regular but it may be 2 or 3 packs before this happens and it won't work at all if the bleeding is due to an infection, a polyp, or abnormal cervical cells. Check with your PCP , GYN, or an urgent care clinic to be sure of the cause.
