Probably not: Before puberty, an internal yeast infection is unlikely. Irritants are usually the cause. Make sure no bubble baths or excessive soap use during bathing. Make sure underwear washed in sensitive skin products. Drinking excessive juice can cause the urine to have too much acid and irritate that area. Sometimes pinworms can move to that area so check for rectal itching. Apply vaseline to help itching
