Oral Surgeon: See the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon for the consultation. They probably do the most frenectomies of them all. You need to know why this is an advantage for you. Unless you are 1. putting too much pressure on the tissue behind the front teeth, or 2. having difficulty speaking, or 3. injuring the tissue under the tongue while sticking your tongue out for kissing,etc. then why the recommendation.
