Pressure Perhaps: Ear infections involve a small amount of fluid located in your middle becoming infected. The build up of fluid can cause a decrease in hearing and sometimes this can also expand and increase the pressure in this area. This can cause referred pain to areas around the ear. Be sure to blow your nose frequently - even no snot comes out it will help reduce the pressure. If not better soon see MD
