Eczema vs food allergy: Itchy food reactions in the skin (scalp here) can be due to T cell immune responses, and not all of those involve production of antibodies. Atopic dermatitis and contact dermatitis are plenty itchy and may produce positive patch tests for delayed hypersensitivity when immediate hypersensitivity tests are negative ( no IgE). If you itch less by avoiding those foods, that's the action to take.
