I have a lump just under my ear. it does hurt only a little when i press on it. it's been there for at least 3 months. thoughts?

It depends on the si: It depends on the size of this lump. It is most likely an enlarged lymph node which her doctor can tell if it is located deeply and not attached to the skin. Infection of the throat is the likely cause. But if the lump is >1cm in size, I would be concerned about other causes like lymph gland cancer. This would mean continued growth in size . If it is, get a medical examination by your MD.
