Normal thyroid: The small change in TSH is within the normal variation in the measurement of this hormone. Pregnancy will change thyroid function as thyroid hormone production is increased to provide adequate hormone for the developing baby. These changes generally begin around week 8. If you're already taking thyroid medications, make sure the prescribing doctor knows about your pregnancy.
