A member asked:

Does lipoma happen in male more than females? and what are they? how does it one get something like that?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Lipoma: Lipoma are benign tumors that represent collection of fat under the skin. The cause of lipomas is not completely understood, but the tendency to develop them is inherited. I am not aware of any sex predilection for these benign tumors.
