Diagnosed with pots in 2012. i look very healthy but have complaints of brain fog, fatigue, occasional swallowing/breathing issues, etc. my doctor thinks it is anxiety. from a md standpoint, how can i enlighten her so i can get the help i need?

Second opinion: POTS would explain some of your symptoms but not swallowing problems, and breathing issues possible but unlikely from POTS. Anxiety certainly on the list of possible causes, but so are a HOST of other possible causes. Would recommend second opinion with another provider, esp re: the breathing and swallowing issues. Doc likely right: Don't believe your symptoms are related to POTS. You need to accept the fact and listen to your doctor. Counselling may be in order.
