Repeat level: Well you can ovulate within a couple weeks of an abortion and its not uncommon for patients not using protecting to get pregnant within a month or so of termination. If your level is increasing its likely a new pregnancy.

Pregnant: The most likely explanation is that you are pregnant again. Did you have sex after the abortion? If your BHCG was 9 back on 8.6.15 then that gives the doctor a point of comparison. Another BHCG can be done now. That number can be compared to the other to see if this is a new pregnancy or lingering BHCG from the pregnancy termination.
