Try new medicine: There is a new prescription medicine available that is supposed to be effective for nail fungus. However it has to be applied to the nail for at least two months or longer. Please see your doctor for a prescription.

Details matter: Are you quite sure it is fungus and not something else? There are several other nail abnormalities. If it really is fungus, is it T. Rubrum, or is it a yeast? Fungus of finger nail responds to terbinafine, 1 pill a day for 6 weeks. A normal fingernail is seen 6 months later.
