Spotting: Your question was cut off. Spotting between periods can be due to ovulation, implantation, infection, or cervical abnormalities. It is not unusual at all for it to take several months to conceive. Up to 1 yr. is considered normal. If you are worried a pre-conceptual visit to be sure you are in the best health possible before pregnancy might be a good idea. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
