Not herpes: Almost certainly not herpes; sounds like a pimple. Herpes lesions are very superficial, not a red bump in the skin, and you can't squeeze out pus, And although recurrent herpes outbreaks can show up as single lesions (if you've had it a long time), the first infection almost always causes multiple superficial painful blisters and sores. So keep hands off, let it heal, and don't worry further.
