Are there any genetic disorders that cause growth spurts in adults? my brother grew one inch around his mid20s or so. i gained 3 inches in my late30s.

Any University Hospital with a bone dysplasia clinic would be intereted. Currently, the only way to increase height in a person with significant short stature is to break their long bones, and attach a metal rig which can be increased about 1 mm/day.
