I have some new small freckles around my mouth, cheeks, and chin after spending a month close to equator (w sunscreen). will they fade with winter?

Most Likely: Probably, be sure to use sunscreen every day from now on too. If they don't, IPL does a nice job of lightening sun damage with no down time. It does require regular treatments to maintain results. Some chemical peels can lighten sun damage. Fractionated laser does a really nice job of lightening pigmentary issues, but there is some downtime. Hydroquinone and lightening creams are other options.
